Job Description
To maintain and develop the Supply Chain function of MegaChem UK, helping the company to achieve its Vision, Mission, Values and established corporate culture.
- To provide professional and positive support to Partners, HODs, Country Managers, suppliers and customers.
- To be responsible for the delivery of high quality service and appropriate improvements, with an aim to achieving objectives in the area of (but not limited to) Supply Chain.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain
- Processing purchase orders on SAP and emailing to suppliers;
- Updating SAP re documents; material master; sample stock;
- Maintenance of product codes;
- Development and maintenance of key supplier relationships;
- Set up of new product codes as needed;
- Handling enquiries as needed.
Internal shipping
- Negotiate internal shipping to ensure cost efficiency;
- Manage internal shipping via various means, e.g. Royal Mail, DPD, DHL;
- Verify courier invoices and ensure accuracy.
Promotion of new products
- Process sample requests and dispatch to potential customers;
- Accurately maintain records for transparency.
Team Contribution
- Work closely with Sales Team, Finance, Regulatory and Customer Service;
- Support for other dept. members during periods of absence;
- Participate in staff development as required;
- Support the Managing Director and any other partners as required;
- Any general office duties as needed, including answering telephone.
Experience Required
- Good level of general education.
- Good communication skills, happy and able to speak with international contacts via email and phone.
- Keen, proactive, responsive and communicative.
- Able to build good relationships with customers – reliable and personable.
- Able to multi-task.
