BRC Global Standard for Agents and Brokers
The BRC Global Standard provides a framework to support the management of product safety, authenticity, quality and legality. It ensures that we, as distributors, fulfil our legal obligations and offer comprehensive consumer protection. MegaChem (UK) Ltd first achieved accreditation in 2021 with the highest possible grade (AA). We continuously refine our practices and have successfully maintained our AA rating ever since.
Chemical Business Association
We’re proud to be a member of the Chemical Business Association (CBA), the leading organisation representing the complete chemical supply chain and an award-winning trade association with record levels of membership.
Many CBA members are SMEs and include manufacturers, distributors, traders, warehouse operators, logistics and transport companies, as well as service providers and suppliers who collectively are the main chemical industry interface, providing products and services to virtually every sector.

Responsible Care
MegaChem (UK) Ltd is signed up to Responsible Care, the chemical industry’s commitment to continual improvement in health, safety, security and environmental (HSSE) performance. It’s a global initiative. In the UK, Responsible Care covers the whole of the chemical supply chain, from manufacturers to distributors and logistics companies. Compliance with Responsible Care is expected for all CBA member companies involved in chemicals trading, distribution, handling, movement and storage.
RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil)
MegaChem (UK) Ltd holds an RSPO Distributors Licence, which is approved for RSPO members who take part in the RSPO-certified palm oil supply chain. Holding this licence confirms that we take legal ownership, store and sell products to our customer bases, but don’t unpack, repack or relabel those products at any stage. We strictly adhere to the RSPO principles and criteria, ensuring due diligence while reviewing our supply partners to ensure they also follow the same principles.
