Megatone

Megatone is a readily dispersible organoclay for non-polar to medium-polarity organic applications.

It provides viscosity increase, reduces sagging of coatings on vertical surfaces and prevents settling of pigments and fillers.

Why use Megatone:

• Cost-effective replacement for conventional organoclay additives
• Easy dispersion, even under low shear conditions
• Stable viscosity build, controls sag and pigment settling
• Requires no chemical activator
• Eliminates the need for pregels
• Can be added as a powder to the millbase

Megatone can be incorporated in the pigment grind under high shear without sensitivity to
overshear.
