Chlorinated Rubber

Product Category

Product Description

Chlorinated Rubber Polymer is used extensively in the production of coatings, inks, and adhesives.

High viscosity chlorinated rubber is used in the production of high-strength adhesives, or added to other rubber products to enhance their quality.

Low-viscosity chlorinated rubber is used in the production of high-quality ink.

Advantages of protecting surfaces with chlorinated rubber:

  • Workable solution of low viscosity: Chlorinated rubber is soluble in many common solvents and compatible with various resins and plasticizers.
  • Corrosion protection: Creates an effective barrier between the elements and metal surfaces like steel, iron, and aluminium. Helps prevent rusting and deterioration.
  • Chemical resistance: Can withstand exposure to chemicals, solvents, and acids without breaking down. This makes them ideal for use in industrial settings where chemicals are present.
  • Adhesion: Forms a tight bond with wood, concrete, and metal. This means you can use it to paint pools, equipment, floors, and more.
  • Fast dry time: Typically dry within 30 minutes, meaning you can get multiple coats daily.
  • Flexibility and durability: Chlorinated rubber paint coating forms a pliable coating that can expand and contract with temperature changes without cracking. This gives surfaces long-lasting protection that withstands weathering and wear and tear.
