What are Matt Curing Agents?

There are a number of different Matt Curing Agents available, but all are in powder form for easy blend into Powdercoat formulations. Based around amine chemistry, they offer a variety of properties when used to crosslink epoxy, polyester or epoxy/polyester hybrid resins for both internal and external applications. While selection of the right matt curing agent has an effect on the suitability of the powder to specific application methods (tribo or corona guns) as well as the application requirements (film thickness, cure temperature, cure time, etc.), the resulting coatings in general offer excellent colour stability and weathering resistance to the end product.
