Cyclohexylamines are used extensively in Water Treatment products as corrosion inhibitors for boilers and steam pipes.

What are Cyclohexylamines?

Cyclohexylamines (CHA/DCHA) are primary and secondary aliphatic amines. While clear liquids themselves, they tend to pick up contaminants easily and become slightly yellow in appearance. Typically smelling of ammonia, they are used both as intermediates in chemical reactions and as corrosion inhibitors.
